Fifine K031 Review
I am going to go over all of the pros and cons of this microphone and telling you whether or not I think you should get this microphone
OVERALL BUILD: First let's start off with the build of this microphone. there are three parts to this microphone; the USB receiver, the transmitter, and the mic itself. The mic's cable itself is about 40 inches long and is connected to the transmitter using what seems like a mini 3pin XLR input. the transmitter itself is about 4 by 2 and a half inches and is just a single body that has the power button, frequency button, antenna and a clip. the transmitter is powered by 2 AA batteries the USB receiver looks basically like a normal USB stick except it has a headphone jack on it. overall I like the design of the K031 and think that it is very simple and makes it look just like any other more expensive lavalier microphone. if I had to make any complaint on the design, it would be that the mic can only be used when you're near a computer, which shouldn't be too much of a problem.
SOUND QUALITY: Now let's move on to the important part the sound quality. the audio that I've been recording this video with is actually coming straight from the Fifine mic. I actually really like the audio quality of this microphone. compared to my camera mic and my other lav mic that I have, the Boya by-m1, I think that this mic pretty easily beats them out.
THOUGHTS: So overall I really was impressed with this mic. for a 40$ wireless Lavalier Mic, I think that this is definitely worth the price.
