The fan is almost perfect. I like the design, and the option to turn the led screen off especially at night since it's the equivalent of a nightlight when on in a dark room. The 6-speed options and the oscillating range are a plus. The only 2 issues I have are: 1. The remote has to be pointing directing at the screen in order for it to work. If the fan is oscillating, you have to wait until the screen is directly in front of you to change the settings. I think the remote should work as long as it's within a reasonable distance of the fan. 2. The highest setting isn't really high in my opinion. Since the sleep option is so low/quiet, and there are settings in between low and high, the high setting should have a little more power. Overall I'd recommend the fan to someone who isn't looking for a huge amount of power and doesn't like the noise that some tower fans emit. This fan would definitely be a good choice for a nursery, or for pet owners whose pets are frightened by loud sounds.
