First, 5 stars for these mothballs and this company. No problem with the product or the company. I just wanted to put up a warning for others that may have the same plan I did. Recently I heard a scratching in my attic, I decided to place a deterrent instead of a poison for whatever critter it was. I read multiple google suggestions from folks that said placing moth balls all around in the attic would deter squirrels, rats, etc and run them out. Great idea. Fast forward.... I placed (flung) moth balls in my attic. I quickly learned that when moth balls are exposed to the heat and humidity of an attic they create a toxic gas that is actually heavier than air meaning the toxic gas will permeate from the attic to your entire house and basically poison your family. Whoops. Once again, I left a great review because I am an idiot, this company did nothing wrong and their mothballs are extremely potent, just like they are supposed to be. Please do not make the same mistake I did. PS: the critter is gone and it has warned the entire neighborhood of critters about our house.
