I have to be blunt- this is a good little portable stereo- especially if you want something that will go cordless for off-site use, construction, camping, etc- but it's missing a few features I feel I could find in other devices in this price range, or even cheaper. The gem of a sell here is the CD playing function. I have much too many old CDs I am too lazy to track down or download on MP3 for Bluetooth use, so having this cd player is convenient. This being said, at $45, I'd be a little hesitant to be toting it to all of the places I'd like to, and it does tend to sound crisper and more enjoyable in an outdoors setting, rather than indoors where some of the audio (CD in particular) can be tinny. This stereo is also lacking a USB input and alarm feature, which are things I think would be pretty standard for a kick around cd player stereo in this day and age. All that being noted, it works well, with long battery life, good AM/FM reception, an is compact enough and lightweight enough to be sturdy but convenient in portability. The handle seems like it might wear over time- so I'll keep this updates, but the antenna and such all seem quite secure and easy to use. Having said this, I'm rating it 4 stars for the overall value priced at $45- it just needs a few more functions to be a good deal, to me. It does work fairly well as advertised and intended, though, so, if the features missing aren't of concern to you then this model will work great for your needs.
