I did a lot of research before buying a booster seat for my schnauzers. I wanted one that would be very sturdy, easy to use and really last. The Kurgo Rover is super sturdy and does not sag on the bottom or sides. The inside material is fleecy but not very thick so I use a small doggie blanket folded up on the bottom. Having many pockets on the outside is SO handy. I can keep a leash, some toys, collapsible bowl, baggie of food or treats and a water bottle. I can even fit my wallet and/or cell phone in a pocket on the side nearest me when driving - so handy! The straps are really strong, easily adjustable and do not slide down when the dog is in it. Having the bottom strap that goes around the back of the seat and one that tethers it to the seat belt makes it really secure. It does not move around even around a sharp corner or quick stop. There is a tether on the inside to clip to the dog's harness (NEVER clip a tether to your dog's collar). The tether is adjustable, which is great since our schnauzers are different sizes. The five pound puppy and the twenty pound guy both fit in it. The larger one cannot lay completely stretched out but he does curl up in it and rests his head on the sides. I can quickly adjust the height so either size dog will be able to enjoy the view. It can be removed in a flash, which is great since I may have to change from doggie to human passenger on the same day. I really could not find any cons for this model other than it will have to be cleaned more often with a high shed dog.
