"Mystery Part" Use Instructions.
There is a small "extra" part contained in the Yard Enforcer package. You can use it to position the motion sensor lower to the ground (to detect rabbits I guess) by attaching the motion sensor directly to the rectangular valve. Here is how you go about using that part. 1) Take the "mystery part" and hold its square-ish end to the front of the rectangular valve. You will notice a square-ish receptacle on the end of the valve and some cross-hairs on that square-ish receptacle. 2) Turn the "mystery part" so that the opening on its square-ish part opens to the right of the valve (as you are looking directly at the front of the value). 3) Slide the "mystery part" over the square-ish receptacle and push it on until it "clicks" on securely. 4) Now unscrew the motion sensor from the mounting arm by turning the small “attachment knob” located just behind the "head" of the motion sensor. A long screw will come out with the knob along with a washer, a ring, and another washer. 5) Now attach the motion sensor to the round part of the "mystery part". You will notice the motion sensor fits to the "mystery part the same way the motion sensor fit the mounting arm which you just removed it from. 6) Use the same screw (attachment knob) you removed to screw the motion detector on to the "mystery part". 7) Now your motion sensor is closer to the ground and you can adjust the angle of the sensor up or down by loosening that attachment knob, then changing the angle of the detector and then tightening the screw to hold the new angle in place. Note: This position (connecting the sensor directly to the valve) is used for the “Garden Enforcer”) which is the same thing as the Yard Enforcer, except it is on a tripod. (Actual review: Yes, my yard enforcer looks sturdy and well built. Seems to work well so far and I love the adjustable features).
