I have been enjoying this outstanding sound system on my imac computer for a week - I am in awe of the clarity and quality every time I use it. Drums and bass are full and thumping, cymbals and hi-hats sizzle; vocals, guitars, horns, keyboards all have a nice presence. (The first day, I did think treble was a bit sharp - and I like treble - but I had been listening to built-in computer speakers for 2 years. Sounds great to me now!) I researched many top brands online for 4 hours and looked for reviews of this product before deciding on this 'unknown' brand. A search for 'genius sw-g2.1 1250 review' on the internet helped me learn more details and choose this system. Thanks to the thoughtful mounting hole on the back of each speaker, I was able to place the speakers at head level on the facing wall rather than set on my small desk because the large imac screen would block sound travel. The nice-sized subwoofer sits on the under-desk shelf. I am over 50, and this is the first product review I've written in a long time - I appreciate a good purchase for my money, and I think you will, too.
