This radio/CD player is lightweight at just under 5 pounds. The unit looks fragile so I would be extra careful moving it around. The sound quality is excellent. The music reproduction is clear and transparent with no coloration of the sound coming from the CD player and radio. At louder volumes the music does not distort, of course being a small inexpensive CD player the volume level is not real loud. The radio has decent sensitivity on both the AM and FM bands, no complaints. The CD player has a random play function or you can also program each individual track on your CD disc. A lot of good reviews on Amazon for this CD player and I was not disappointed with it's performance.
