I think this is a great little outdoor cat shelter. It's not very big inside so I don't believe it'd be accommodating to larger cats, but for my friendly 8-9lb outdoor cat it's perfect! Like others have said, the door flaps are held on by a little adhesive. I put a little duck tape on to make sure they hold in place. Also, I'm very pleased with the construction, this is totally giving the kitty a safe and dry place to hang out when it's put in a partially-covered place. I put mine in the bushes as you can see in the photos, but I wouldn't expect it to be 100% waterproof if placed in the middle of an uncovered area during a thunderstorm. My only negative is that one of the corners where the screws go in arrived damaged, see photos. Not a major deal, though, I was able to put the pieces back together using superglue and things seem just fine. Overall, very pleased!
