Small and lightweight. Replaced an older Oster which we liked but was warn from lots of use. Note: the basket handles have a # 1 or 2 molded into them. Basket #1 is 'always' the bottom basket or puddling of condensed steam onto your counter will result. We don't use two tiers as a general rule but did notice using #2 by itself resulted in puddling but #1 by itself did not because it seals to the base correctly. A look at the exploded view diagram in the manual shows #2 sitting atop #1. It makes a difference!
