Smaller than expected, but easy to fill, clean, move and store. Powerful 3 speed fan with adjustable louvers and swing function. The paper "fill" pad is easy to remove and eventually replace (due to hard water build up). I've see similar fill pads (for swamp coolers) at Home Depot during the summer months (they are paper and easy to cut to size). The remote is very small, but controls all of the functions including the "wind" functions - with mimics "wind" by varying the speed of the fan. Water (about 1 gallon) lasted 6-7 hrs at 35% RH (relative humidity) on low fan speed. Also, the included "blue cooler blocks" are empty and must be filled with water to activate the gel before freezing. Note, this unit is imported (the instructions have some grammatical errors). Overall, happy with purchase, used to replace an older, larger model that leaked out the bottom last year. Photo - unit is setting next to a 20" box fan for size reference.
