I already own a Scriveiner leather journal which is beautiful. As soon as they announced the pen I decided to buy. I can’t believe the quality at this price. It is absolutely gorgeous! The pen is heavy – not so heavy that it makes you tired but heavy in a quality way. The black lacquer gives a very premium look and feel. The gold parts just complete the package. Writing with it is simply divine! It’s so smooth that this has now replaced a high-end fountain pen as my favourite. I’ve already had 2 admiring comments and I’ve only been using the pen for one day! It comes in a black and gold gift box which is very stylish. The pen sits on a layer which can be lifted and there is a spare refill tucked underneath. This would make a fantastic gift – I’ve bought pens costing hundreds of dollars that do not come near this in terms of quality.
