I originally borrowed my neighbor's Cyclone which was out of my price range so I looked at all of the cordless vacuums I could and took a chance with this one. Just came today and charging took about 2 hours even though it says 4 hours. I am SUPER impressed by this vacuum! It seemingly works just as well as the Dyson although time will tell if it stands the test. No problem picking up hair and dust bunnies on the low setting. I haven't even tried the high setting because everyone who owns ANY cordless vacuum notes that the battery life is short on the max setting and if you don't need it, why waste battery power? I don't think the Cyclone has lights on it, but I like that this unit does. This one can be mounted to the wall like the Cyclone. The only thing I don't know yet is if I can go from wood floor to carpet "on the fly" with the same brush or if I have to change it out for the one I showed in the video. My neighbor's Dyson Cyclone CAN go from hard floors to area rugs on the fly which is a great feature. Perhaps the brush I show in my video can handle both hard floors and carpet, and I'll have to update this review when I find out about it. I don't review tons of things on Amazon, but I'd love to save people some money....likely people like me who desperately want a Dyson Cyclone or Shark, but can't afford a vacuum that costs over $500. I absolutely HATE vacuuming and can't believe I've waited this long to get a cordless vacuum for my hardwood floors! I've been lugging around my heavy Bissells and Hoovers for years. This vacuum is a game changer and I'm so glad my neighbor allowed me to borrow her cyclone so I could fall in love with cordless vacuums. In the video, you can't hear me talk over the vacuum even though it's SUPER quiet. In one part, I say that the stuff you see left on the floor is scuffs that I need to mop up (in other words, no vacuum would pick it up). I just didn't want folks to think the vacuum isn't doing a good job. I hope I continue to be pleased by this purchase. I had other videos to post, but why does Amazon only allow you to post one video per review? Should I review again to post my other videos? Lol. If you order this little baby, I hope you have good luck with it like I have. Money well spent.
