The Coredy was the Christmas gift to myself as my motivation to keep the house tidy... because the clutter and random items that end up on the floor, need to be picked up before Coredy cruises about the house. The remote is cool. My 11 year old feels like she's all that as she 'cleans' thr entire house with a remote that bosses around the vacuum cleaner. For myself, I set it in a room, press start and walk away while it goes about its work in that room and then into the other areas of the house. It beeps when it's got something to say.. so I pull out a Qtip or something like it .... Or I change the tray... Or I send it 'home' to recharge... It's all very easy, intuitive and I have not yet read any instructions, but I probably should at some point...;) It suctions better than I expected... but obviously it's not a shop vac, ikr?.. so my expectations are reasonable and appropriate, considering that this is a floor cleaner that literally helps multitask my domestic bliss... much like the washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. So, It's been a few weeks and sure enough, my house is far more tidy. It goes up and down the rugs nicely...and navigates around things like the piano. We raise the leg piece on recliners so it can catch those dust bunnies too. ..and boom....the dust in the house has decreased, an unexpected benefit. :) $ I'm getting paid for this review and I'm way excited about that.. I've read other reviews and have always wondered how one actually gets a few bucks for saying what they were already going to say. Of course a gift certificate does not affect my opinion in anyway, as I'm being paid to give my opinion, whatever that might be.
