from a person that has used many 8-10,000$ units at shops i have worked at I can honestly say, I personally recommend this Lotos 200amp tig/stick welder to anyone. Price was rite on at my budget which is why we buy many "cheaper" items. this is not to be confused with a CHEAPER item. the functions work phenomenally and this machine works flawlessly out of the box pedal controls amperage well. i welded new strapping around an old aluminum hydraulic tank for a customer with no issues in 3 hrs and the straps are 5ft long x 3 wide x 1/4". so 21ft of weld at 6min weld intervals with roughly 8-10 min breaks due to 60% duty cycle. i hope this review helps someone, i almost didnt purchase this unit by the reviews i read, it would of been a darn shame and i surley would of regreted it if i ever came across one to try.
