I've had this lamp for a few days now and I really like it! I purchased this lamp in particular to use with my philips hue lights in my living room. It lets out enough light for my liking. The shelves are an extra bonus to help me hold a few misc items. The only gripes I have about it is the fact that the lamp cord come directly from the middle of the underside of the lamp above the top shelf. I had to use twist ties to secure the cord close to the poles. Also that the lamp shade arrived to us a little skewed and so it doesnt fit all that great. It could have been the shipping, but it's somewhat noticeable. Might try to exchange.
