UPDATE: After a year, the hard water got to this thing and it started to slip off in the middle of baths. So I bought one of the new teal ones... and I'm sorry to say that it SUCKS. Or rather, it doesn't suck onto the side of the bath. It pops off repeatedly every few minutes, and re-affixing it over and over is not my idea of a good time. Undecided yet if I will try the clear one again, or another brand. We moved from a rental with a lovely deep tub to our first house, which was an upgrade in every way... except for the wretched, shallow bath tub. As someone who de-stresses by reading in the bath, this was a frustrating situation. After browsing (in horror) the cost of local bathroom remodel options, and making the unfortunate choice to seal the overflow drain with plumber's putty (here's a tip: don't freaking do this lol) I violently plunged the airlock I had caused out of the pipes, got the tub draining again, and turned to Amazon. This drain cover has lasted many long baths in very hard water, endured added bath crystals, and never failed me once. It gains me a precious few inches of water depth and stays put until it's removed, even adhering to this cheap textured plastic failure of a tub. As a sanity-saving measure, it's absolutely five stars. Buy with confidence and enjoy, fellow bathers!
