I prefer to do my hair myself. I have long locks. I bought this product after my hard hooded dryer broke (for the 3rd time). This dryer alloted me the freedom to do other things. The bonnett was large enough to fit around my big curlers. Be prepared to place a towel on your neck as I had to. The vent of the bonnett is towards the edge of the bonnett, which blew hot air on my neck. I spent the same amount of time drying my hair as I would have with the hooded dryer. In fact, it maybe less considering my hair dried evenly and I did not have to spend extra time trying to dry the back. I highly recommend this product to others, especially those tired of propping the hooded drying on the table, adjusting the height or adding weight to the base to prevent it from tipping over.
