Below is my original review. The update below is 3 days later. Two problems. . One, if your dog is like most dogs and scratches at its collar it will undoubtedly hit the on/off button and you can guarantee its collar will be flashing strobe light effects throughout your house while you're trying to sleep. . Two, had this 4 days past return date and it malfunctions in a way where it turns on and off on its own cycling through its different functions. . Very sad because a lot of friends liked this and now I have to buy a new one from a different vendor. So 2 days after writing that review I was contacted by the seller saying they were disappointed that I had those problems and offered to send me a new one. I said I didn't expect that but would take a new one and try it again. The following day I get notified by Amazon saying I'm getting a refund as well and a very personalized response email from Peter, an owner of the company, with some very interesting ideas that they are working on for this product. Of which one addresses that dogs can sometime turn these on and are working on a solution and have for several attempts now. I learned that this particular company really is trying to have the best product in the industry and is actively working on customer concerns and feedback. That alone is the single most important reason why I'd continue to purchase their products. No product is perfect, flawless, or indestructible, but at least they know it and keep on trying to get better. Start buying the stock now folks! #firstethicalcompanyever Those other 1 star reviews...all 3 of you out of 87.... Tisk tisk. You know damn well you need to be updating your star power.
