Wow. Wow. Wow. Use this!
When my daughter and wife were flat on their back this past winter with multiple horrific bouts of the flu, I thought I was in the clear. Then one day, as they were nearing the end of their ordeal, I developed the same symptoms they'd had at the start ... and that evening I had a freight train of a fever accompanied by shakes. I knew I was about to get slammed with what they had. Wanting no part it, I went online and started researching. To my surprise, Black Elderberry Syrup was highly recommended in combating flu. I even came across a university study that showed it was quite effective in reducing the duration and intensity of the flu. So -- I hightailed it to my local health food store that evening and got a bottle of this syrup, along with a head of fresh garlic. This product's instructions said to take one teaspoon / day for normal use, and two per day for 'therapeutic' use. I thought "to heck with that." I took two teaspoons when I got home and two more again before I went to bed. I also sliced up a clove of garlic into pill-size pieces and took those as if they were pills. I slept like a rock that night and woke up with NO fever and NO flu symptoms. However, my energy level was probably 80% of normal, so I just took it easy that day while continuing to consume garlic along with two teaspoons of Black Elderberry Syrup every four hours. The next day I was back to 100% and no signs of any flu ... at all. I suppose that "by law," I can't recommend taking as much per day as I did. I'm simply telling you what I did. (My thoughts: It's a berry syrup, for Pete's sake, not a narcotic!) I wish I'd known about this stuff years ago. We don't take it every day, but if one of us starts to feel sick in any way, we head straight for this syrup. BTW, the larger bottle is much cheaper per oz. than the smaller bottle, and overall, the product is about 30% cheaper here on Amazon than it is in my local health food stores. Definitely worth keeping on hand!
