Currently not cold enough to really put them to the test, but everything I see in these gloves lead me to believe they'll do great when the snow starts to fly. I have average sized hands and the mediums fit great. They're really comfortable and have to ways to help seal them up. There's a strap that's around the wrist area and a pull cord strap at the end of them. Between these two these gloves should seal up nice and keep the cold and snow out. I poured some water on them and it just beaded up and ran off. So they're definitely water repellent. All in all these should be great for ice fishing, shoveling/snow blowing, or any other cold weather activity.
