This is my first sheet set that isn't 100% cotton. My mother always said cotton is the only thing that lets your body breathe (not true). For years I only purchased cotton sheet sets and paid more for them. After reading reviews about how these sheets were recommended to keep you cooler on foam toppers, I thought I'd try them. The price was right and I do not regret it. I'm converted! I no longer need the cotton sheets. We are using these wonderful in the middle of summer and they are light, airy, super soft and inviting. Not hot at all, body breathes just fine. Usually when we wash sheets we put on another set since the ones stripped from the bed are in the wash. Not with these. My husband insists we wait until they've finished washing/drying so we can put these sheets back on our bed. We have a cal-king with a 4 inch memory foam topper. The deep pockets make these easy to make the bed. I just bundled up our old cotton sheets for donation. I'm back on Amazon to purchase more of these in different colors. PROS- inexpensive luxurious feel soft light, flowing in movement white is bright white washes well (no shrinkage or piling) doesn't wrinkle body breathes seems to make it cooler to sleep on foam topper, more than cotton deep pockets offered in a variety of colors CONS none
