I purchased the 25w 660nm LED bulb a week or so ago, along with a simple gooseneck lamp to power it. Being the skeptic that I am, I purchased and used a solar meter to determine the output of this bulb and to objectively compare the output with a LED panel I purchased that cost more than 10 times the price of this bulb, and was genuinely BLOWN AWAY! This bulb put out well in excess of 950 w/m2 (or 95 mw/cm2) at a distance of 5cm from the bulb, and thus a dose of over 5.7 Joules/cm2 per minute of treatment (at a treatment distance of 5cm from the bulb). By contrast, the DPL panel I paid 400 for, put out a measly 200 w/m2 (or 2 mw/cm2) at a distance of 1 cm (i.e. the light meter almost touching the panel) and thus a dose of paltry 1.2 Joules/cm2 per minute. This ABI light is absolutely bananas in terms of value! I wish this company would make other therapeutic wavelengths like 415nm! Hint, hint!
