I’ve purchase this smaller machine (compared to the standard larger Hoover machine) for spot cleaning only - in other words, when my pets make a mess. When my dogs walked in from the backyard I did not noticed that they got into mud. Take a look at the photo… ahh what a mess!!! I let the mud dry up a bit and then cleaned it. The carpet is like new again! MACHINE IS VERY EASY TO USE: 1st Water Tank - holds hot tap water, and carpet cleaning solution gets mixed with it. 2nd Water Tank - collects the dirty water from the carpet. CARPET CLEANING SOLUTION: Carpet Miracle - This carpet cleaning solution is far superior to Hoover's (works better and smells amazing). STEP 2 Clean one area of the room at a time with the carpet cleaning machine with solution mixed in. STEP 3 Go over the entire area you just cleaned with hot tap water only (no solution). - This activates the carpet solution to work further to remove stains and odors. - It also sucks up the remaining carpet solution that was initially left behind. *This step is important because if some soap is left in the carpet, it may attract dirt to those specific areas. STEP 4 - Allow the carpet to air dry / use a fan / open windows. STEP 5 - Vacuum the carpet after it is fully dry to pick up any loose dirt / loose carpet fibers. Your are done!
