I've been using the same clear plastic bobbin organizer boxes for years now, made by a well-known sewing notions supplier and they've always fallen far short of the mark. When I'd open the lid, I'd be greeted by a tangle of thread. Of course, usually I'd find that the lid had fallen off and my bobbins had rolled out inside my sewing machine transport bag, if I was going to a sewing class or sewing work day. Things had deteriorated to the point of having to keep them shut with rubber bands but that still didn't solve the problem of the tangles of thread. I finally got fed up and did some sleuthing around Amazon for a better bobbin box organizer. I read a lot of reviews and these seemed to be the best solution. When they arrived, I quickly got to work and transferred my bobbins. What a dream! The bobbins fit tightly in the foam and, if you turn the bobbins so that the loose end of the thread is facing the bottom of the slot, you won't have any loose threads to tangle up. I'm only kicking myself that I didn't get these sooner.
