This fits my 110 pound Akita. And if you know anything about the Akita body shape, it's difficult, if not impossible to fit something around their chest, let alone their neck. This is literally a godsend to me as I almost lost my dog in a river accident on memorial when i pulled on her leash and her collar came off...I was horrified as I knew my Akita has such a big neck, that her head would always be smaller and never be able to be helped or restrained in an emergency situation. This harness not only eliminates that particular issue but has a handle and had I had a handle, I could have drug or at the very least, held on to her until help arrived to pull her all the way out. Serisouly strong as well (provided you have a substantial leash to fit your dogs weight). She went after a squirrel with all her might amd it held. That reminds me! It has a hook on the chest for pullers as well as the top hook for people blessed with more trained or cooperative dogs ;). Our girl pulls with me but does not for my husband, clearly a training/respect issues on my part but until I buckle down and force the issue, the harness is made for both of us to walk her safely and enjoyably.
