This product works much better than our first purchase which was too wobbly. After hip replacement surgery, I needed someting I could put my full weight on, and this works great. Only one small problem, which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5: the front plastic plate the legs attach to provides great stability, but for some strange reason it has little sharp plastic flanges on either side that stick up and hurt like hell if you step on them, which I have done a couple of times. We're talking serious pain, possibly injury depending on how hard you step on them. I have learned the hard way, and so I am very mindful when standing or walking near the base. Both times I had stepped backwards and stepped with my heel onto one of these little blue monsters from hell. Whoever designed this screwed up. I have even considered covering these sharp flanges with some Play-Doh to make them mere bumps and not jagged hazards. It will look tacky, but at least it will prevent possible future serious injury. But other than that, this thing works great.
