This (7th gen) iPad case is an excellent choice, it is sturdy, fits perfectly to hold and protect the iPad. Provides a pocket on the back to hold a stylus (works specially well for the Logitech Digital Crayon), while the very strong magnetic back serves as an excellent easel to hold the iPad a multiple angles depending upon your need. The cover works to turn the iPad off when closed and on when you open it, and all the iPad ports and buttons are easily accessible since the case openings and button extensions are in the exact locations that they should be. I think that this case would be an excellent choice for most people looking for a protective and utilitarian case for their iPad, and most highly recommend this case over many that I've looked at to purchase. This case also is comparatively an excellent value for the price. I rate this case as 5 stars! However I rate Amazon's provisioning of this case as 2 stars, only because they delivered it earlier than originally stated and expected, otherwise I would give Amazon 1 star for the following reason ............ I've bought two of these cases, one for my granddaughter and after finding that to be an excellent and useful case, I ordered another one for myself. It just arrived, and I find it to be a "used" and "RETURNED" case that has been sold as "NEW". It was missing ALL of the internal packaging (plastic wrap and supplied card containing instructions and rebate offer) This I know from receiving an actually "NEW" case in the first case. I don't expect to receive a "USED" / "RETURNED" item when I'm supposedly purchasing a NEW item. Normally a used item is discounted or at least it's made known that you will be receiving a "RETURNED" item is sellable condition. This item should have been on their "WOOT" site as a refurbished / customer return in good condition item at a reduced price, NOT being sold as a "NEW" product, even though it's in "good" condition (once I cleaned the "lint" off the inside of the cover). I am very disappointed in the way Amazon has been doing business for awhile now, and have cut way back on the business I direct to them.
