I am a 52 year old female floor nurse on a very busy cardio pulmonary unit. I literally am on my feet 13+ hours a day without sitting. I tried 3 other brands of compression socks and this is one of my favorites. The other is the CEP Men's Running Progressive. The sizing is for a mans foot as most women's socks aren't long enough for my legs. I wear 8 1/2 - 9 in womens shoes. I am 5'8" so I usually have trouble finding socks to truly fit OVER my calf and stay. My calf is 14". The medium fits perfectly. Had them for over 4 months now. They wash well and I hang to dry. I am purchasing more today! Worth the investment to save my legs!
