Unique things I've noticed
The black tableware is stylish and classy. This is a high quality set, easy on the eye, feels hardy, not heavy.
A few notes after using these for a few weeks:
The outer edges of the fork tines are squared rather than rounded. The squareness is pronounced from other sets I've used. This is an advantage for those who like to "cut" their food with their fork, making larger bits into smaller ones. Not an overly fine edge, but helpful to cut and keep your attention on conversation and good eating.
A note on the sizes:
The regular sized fork is the same size as a popular brand I already own.
The smaller fork though, is larger than other small forks with a bit of a longer stem. I'd call it an in-between size. If little forks were growing into larger, adult forks, this would be a teenager fork. Just sayin'. It's a handy size for omelets.
The larger spoon is larger than any large spoon I can remember using. If you're into serious mouthfuls, this is the spoon you'll want. In a pinch this could work as a serving spoon. While it may be too large for some folks, others will be happy to get more broth, or more milk in their cereal.
The smaller spoon, on the other hand, is smaller than what I believe is average for small spoons. Not small enough to be a baby spoon but noticeably smaller than most. The stem is shorter and the spoon itself is smaller. A compact spoon. Kids are gonna love this spoon.
The knife is a fairly standard size. What stands out is the ridges along the cutting edge. They are a bit more pronounced. This will make cutting into that dinner roll a little faster and easier.
So a larger-large spoon, a smaller-small spoon and a unique mid-sized small fork. Add well cornered forks and knives with real serrations that can really do the job. These may be the ergonomics I noticed in the description. It's a great set.
Hope this helps. If it does, please click the helpful button. Thanks and enjoy some classy ergonomic dining.
