Bought this for a beer fridge for the man cave. After reading a bunch of other reviews and comments on other reviews, I decided to take some pics and summarize what I've learned to save sometime for others. *Step 1 buy a cheap digital thermometer and hang it on one of the racks. Out of the box it looks sharp but I couldn't get it colder than 46°. After researching the comments, it's an easy fix. (See attached photos). On the back upper left corner of the unit is the thermostat. Set the reostat dial to the middle and then remove the knob. The cover is secured with 4 screws. Remove the 4 screws and the cover comes off. On the left side of the control module you'll see a small phillps head screw that will probably have like a waxy or plastic coating. Take a small head phillips screw driver and turn that screw counter clockwise (to the left) 3 or 4 full turns. Moniter your temp, if it gets too cold, turn that screw clockwise (to the right) a 1/4 turn at a time till you find the sweet spot (34° for my taste). I initially turned that screw way to far and got the temp down to 9°. I'd recommend not stocking it till the temp is regulated. Then put it back together. Had I not needed to modify the thermostat I would have given 5 stars.
