I decided to go fluoride free a year ago. I have read articles saying that fluoride is not as beneficial as the mainstream dental community would have you believe. I looked around for natural toothpastes that I could use. I found Apagard on Amazon. I used to live in Japan so it was a no-brainer to try it. I was interested to see if the hydroxyapatite would actually re-mineralize my teeth. I have had some tooth sensitivity when eating/drinking for many years. After a week of using this toothpaste it was gone. My teeth are noticeably brighter and shinier. I've gone for two dental cleanings since switching over. I told my dentist that I had gone fluoride free. The most he will say is, "you don't have any decay." I've tried the M-Plus, Premio and Royal Apagard. It is absolutely worth the extra $$. I have seen microscopic before/after tooth surface photos on the Sangi website. It's amazing.
