I have been seeing a doctor who specializes in the treatment of Candida (yeast) overgrowth disorders since I was a child. He is very impressed with this formula, as it contains all the supplements he recommends. There are a bunch of other "candida support" products available. While they are fine choices, they are also all practically identical. It's only the price that varies. THIS formula, while similar, has one important difference. Only it contains the herb PAU D'ARCO. This is very important, since (along with caprylic acid and oregano oil, which are both potent & well-studied anti fungals) pau d'arco is one of the most important & effective internal treatments for Candida/yeast overgrowth. The Now Foods product has all three, along with biotin as well. I find that 2 capsules morning & night is enough to keep my yeast issues at bay. I also don't notice any stomach upset, even when I have to take a little more for symptom control. That's great, since anti yeast supplements can often be hard on the stomach (they usually give me heartburn). Ironic, since digestive upset (from yeast) is one of the things they are meant to help alleviate! Oh well, bottom line: if you're having an issue with fungi/yeast or suspect you do, I would highly recommend trying this. Then look into a good probiotic (I like Hperbiotics Pro-15 & Pro-Women). And cut back on the sugar & other carbs if you can manage it.
