This is a badass flat iron - I open it first and I plugged it in - I turned it on by instruction first - here's the skinny - the moment you turn it on it has a "Fragile , Damaged , Healthy" setting on it & it has an auto-lock mechanism that keeps your flat iron together - keeps space in the bathroom on your counter/ you can also hang it on the wall if you want to! & it does autolock on the buttons to keep what temp you want while doing your hair! :D you can change also to Fahrenheit /Celsius if you are from different part of the world - it also comes with a professional swede bag for travel with it! This flat iron is "pinky in the air while drinking your tea" fancy - it works for all hair types as well! It is worth the $25.99 - it is The Ferrari of Flat Irons - for a girl on a budget & wanting a new flat iron.
