Update: Today, I threw the last of these rugs away after the backing disintegrated. They lasted 2-1/2 years. I'll let you decide if that's log enough. These rugs are well made and have been holding up just fine with a busy household and two dogs. The colors are nice, in softer hues of grey, white, cream, turquoise, mint green, and orange. The nap is short and it vacuumes easily, doesn’t show dirt or footprints, and I think would hose off to clean. No offensive odors when unpackaged. If you have a couple of creases in the runner, they WILL relax in time. I have the runner and a small rug at front door, as seen in picture. Glad I went with these and would buy again.
