The frame itself seems to work fine. It's not super noisy, in my opinion. The issue is that Classic Brands lists (on this very page) their 12 and 14 inch mattresses as being compatible with this frame. I purchased the 12" Cool Gel Memory Foam Mattress as seen on this page under "from the manufacture." The problem is that the 12" mattress does not "bend" at the foot area of the bed so when you lift that area of the frame the mattress just pulls right out of the brackets and sticks UP rather than molding to the frame. I either got an defective mattress (no way for me to tell) or the mattress is too thick/ridged for use with this (or any other?) adjustable bed frame. I am keeping the frame but will be looking for a more flexible mattress. Customer service at the manufacturer seemed uninterested, or simply didnt understand the issue and basically pushed me off to Amazon for resolution, which I found pretty disappointing, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.
