Great 'phones, but make marriage plans first
When I told my wife I wanted to spend over $2000 on a pair of headphones (that's $1K per ear, BTW), she laughed her head off. Then I actually bought them, and she hasn't stopped yelling at me since. This is where the closed-back design of these 'phones really comes in handy. If you're determined to buy something as wackily expensive as these, why not get something that filters out criticism AND lets you listen to music in sparkling high fidelity? It's just efficiency, if you ask me.
