I've tried human-style pet toothbrushes and this finger brush works much better in concept; but while working on the back molars my kitty chomped down, back near the jaw hinge - I nearly vomited from the pain. So I made a modification - I pushed a metal sewing thimble into the tip of the finger brush, like a steel-toed boot (you can see it inserted in the photo). Now kitty can chomp all he wants and my finger is protected. Works great!
