I chose this for my 8-year-old nephew for Christmas, and he loves it! He's an exceptionally bright child who likes to be challenged, and this game meets that requirement. The fact that it involves cats is a bonus since he's Team Feline. I love that the game allows him to use deductive reasoning without the mystery being something scary or too grown-up. No one dies in the conservatory with a lead pipe. Haha...
