I've always been one of those that had to have the best electronics when they came out. A few years back I paid about $900 for a 8mm camcorder, but recently, I had the need for something than would allow me to make quick copies of tapes, something easy to use. I bought this camera, and was worried what the picture quality would be like. I was AMAZED how good it is, how easy it is to play in the VCR, and how easy it was to make copies in my VCR. I almost feel like I'm stealing its that good of a buy. If you're looking for a great deal pricewise, and a clear picture with good sound, get this camera. Save your dollars for the next gizmo down the line.
