I don't write many reviews, but felt the need on this product. Pro's First the meter is a great size, it's a bit bigger then a Bic Lighter. Ever thing you need to do your testing is in the meter, lances, test strips, phone dongle it's a very complete unit. I have two other meters. Comparing to my other meters readouts, it's with in a couple of points. Overall it's a great meter for carrying with you at all times. Con's The dongle does not hold the strip correctly unless you use the plastic bag that covers your phone. This may account for bad readings by all the complainers. First I don't see a reason for the bag other then profit margin by Dario. It's says to protect your Phone from your blood. My phone more than likely has more bacteria than a toilet seat already on it. The way around the bag is to use clear nail polish and paint around the top edge of the plug in part of the dongle. It will then snap in to your phone and give you proper readings, Bingo no more need for the stupid bag. Over all Great Product, click on the upgrade on your phone. Get unlimited strips for $20 bucks a month, cures the high cost of the strips. Update: Have now been using the Dario for four months. Had to get A1C tested, came home tested my self with the Dario. The lab results were spot on with my test. Love this meter even more after figuring out all the things this meter does for you. Only had three strips error on me, they were all my fault. Great product, accurate, easy to use , easy to carry and does more then just keep track of your readings.
