This is probably one of the best purchases I've ever made. I just moved into a place that didn't have a washer/dryer hook up and I went for this product based on the reviews here. It works incredibly well for what it is and it's very easy to use. It was smaller than I expected unlike most people on here. It was the size of a large laundry hamper. A great size. It fit perfectly right by my shower and sink in the bathroom. I plugged it in, held the tube up to the sink faucet with my hand (took less than 2 minutes to fill up with whatever temperature you choose. I recommend not using super hot water as the machine is mostly made of plastic.), put my clothes in, detergent, and it took 15 minutes to wash and drained into my shower. I then filled it up again and did a 15 minute rinse cycle without detergent and drained again. Yes, it uses gravity to drain, but the tube can be elevated to drain. Then I put a few garments into the spin cycle side with the plastic cover which only took 5 minutes and everything in there was pretty much dry on the first go! I was so impressed! It seems this little engine that could doesn't need much water or power. One recommendation I would say, yes the motor is very strong and can handle your clothes, but be sparingly on heavy loads. I put in a big towel, jeans, sweats, and two shirts and it seemed like it was doing the best it could, but I felt like I over did it with that load. This machine works perfect for underwear, socks, shirts, and smaller lightweight garments and can handle bigger things like towels, jeans, and probably sheets, but I would just be nice to it and not over work it so the motor will last a good while. Do multiple loads if needed. I couldn't highly recommend this lil guy more!
