Not sure why a lot of you are having issues with tearing. It might be due to the material, you guys might be packing too much into the wallet, or your wear and tear is much more intense than normal. I opted for the Sahara Coffee, which is a soft leather material. Awesome feel and holds my 4 cards just fine. I'd recommend not pushing the cards too deep into the slots. Insert them just enough to where they hold and don't excessively stick out. Pushing the cards too deep into their slots might cause the wallet to prematurely tear at the seams. It's a minimalist wallet, so don't expect to carry two IDs, 3 bank/credit cards, 10 business cards, and all sorts of other things and for it to still hold just fine because it won't. It's a minimalist wallet.
