Some have complained that this wedge is too firm. I suspect they do not understand the functional use case involved. This product is a support for one's body, not a plush cat pillow. It is just about perfect for gently bracing you in an elevated position, if that is the thing you want. The foam is not like your typical dense, Tempedic-style memory foam. It is a much lighter weight material...almost like a pliable styrofoam. I like the fact that (unlike Temperpedic materials) it had no discernible odor, and did not appear to be off-gassing noxious fumes. My one complaint? The cover is kind if a joke. The zipper is so fragile and cheap it may as well be made of gauze. When it breaks (and it certainly will), you'll be left with an oddly-shaped foam block for which no obvious cover/case exists. They really should have spent the extra nine cents and made a durable zipper.
