I bought 3 pairs of these Hanes French Terry Pants in Navy, Charcoal Heather and Black and the Charcoal Heather is 50% polyester and 50% cotton. The other colors are 90% cotton and 10% polyester. And because of the high amount of polyester; it is a much heavier pant. The charcoal heather pants are a nice color so I will wear them in late fall, winter and early spring. I bought these pants to wear mostly in the fall months since I live in the South and I figured these pants would be long gone from Amazon by then. If you are looking for more summer clothes; I highly recommend Hanes French Terry Capris. These pants are made like Hanes French Terry Capris in that they have metal eyelets for the drawstring. They have pockets that lay flat and are not pouffy. They are soft against your skin and fit well in the rear which is a definite must. I wear a size 14 and these pants in the large size; fit me perfectly. Washing instructions are wash on cold and dry on low. From my past experience with Hanes; I know that if you diverge from these instructions than your clothes will definitely shrink.
