My daughter is at that age before pre-teen when she just gets a funk. She is very active and takes a shower every day, but by midday she smells. After checking with her pediatrician to make sure nothing was wrong and she wasn't developing abnormally early, I went looking for a natural deodorant. She loves this stuff and so does my nose (haha). I taught her to put it on every morning, though sometimes I have to remind her and it really does prevent the funk. It hasn't irritated her skin at all. Highly recommend.
