These are pretty good at eliminating snores and protecting your teeth grinding sleep grinding, if you can get the molding down pat. Fortunately you have 8 pieces to try with, and each one is supposed to last 12 months (3–4 if you're a severe grinder), so it should be enough for most people. Like others have mentioned in their reviews, the instructions for molding are a bit off. UNLIKE others, I actually had the reverse problem; even leaving the guard in hot water for 30 seconds didn't soften them enough to properly mold. I found my problem was that the water wasn't hot enough, and upped the microwave to heat the water at high for 1 minute. That did it. I dunked the guard in, used a fork to keep it submerged as the thing kept trying to float, and pulled it out as soon as I noticed the sides starting to curl in. When it's ready to mold, the shape doesn't hold at all, so you have to simultaneously be very quick and also very careful when fitting it around your teeth. It's flimsy straight out of the water, the thing is going to flip-flop around unless you're careful. But as long as you've got all the sides of the guard around your teeth, and it hasn't folded in on itself, the rest of the molding process goes smoothly. Make sure to press with your tongue while sucking in, to ensure the guard is firmly pressed against the back of your teeth. As for the front, close your lips over the mold and press your lips against the front of your teeth with your fingers. It'll come out looking real legit. It did help with grinding, and I'm planning to use it for teeth whitening too as you can tell I badly need it from my video.
