I have six kids and I’m not into washing 100 cups a day so my kids use water bottles almost exclusively. I have been on the hunt for years for a durable, leak proof water bottle, and this is by far the best one I’ve found. 1. Durability. I also prefer not to buy 50 water bottles a year, so durable is a must. My kids have used these water bottles daily for five months now. And my children are not always as gentle as I would like. They all have minor dents in them. One has a major dent. One is cracking at the top and when submerged, water fills the part between in inner layer and the outer layer. But they all still have plenty of life in them! I am also very impressed with how well the paint is holding up. It’s coming off in some places, but overall they still look good. The only other water bottle we’ve had that came even close in the durability department in the Klean Kanteen bottles. But their paint chipped of fairly quickly. I also appreciate that the spout as are hard plastic. No amount of biting will mess up the spouts. 2. Leakproof. They are still leak proof *when used properly*. If the spout is up and the bottle is laying on its side, it will leak. With the spout down it does not leak at all. Those are the two main factors for me. But bonus points for the variety of cute designs. There’s not much I would change about these bottles. The only con in my opinion is that they are loud (and can hurt your toes) when dropped. But that is true of any steel water bottle. Great water bottles overall! I’m very pleased.
