I'm trying to answer some of the questions I had when looking at this product. Luckily the package had a lot more detailed information than other reviewers or questions were revealing. This variety of strawberry clover is Palestine clover from Australia. The seed has been innoculated with nitrogen fixing bacteria. Palestine clover is a very hardy variety of clover which can tolerate waterlogged, poorly drained, saline, or alkaline soils and a wide variety of temperatures. The total germination rate for the clover I received is 85%. It's possible the clover seed might vary between orders but hopefully this can give a good idea of what to expect! I was happy to find an affordable and tough variety of clover to plant and will update with my results. I'm hoping to sow a mix of white and strawberry clover on my buffalo grass and blue grama yard for a low-growing, low water/fertilizer requiring lawn.
