My sister recently moved in with her blind, mutant hillbilly cat, who pees all over my house several times a day. It's easy enough to get the smell out of the carpet and off of the linoleum -once I'm done dodging the puddles like landmines just to get to the coffee pot every morning- but this hills have eyes lookin cat got stuck in my bedroom one day and peed multiple times on the hardwood floor in there. I tried all kinds of methods to get rid of her rancid smell, but it seeped into the floor and nothing was doing the trick. I had a room that smelled like a port-a-john for 3 weeks. I used this spray ONCE and the smell was gone after 5 minutes, much to my relief. I can't tell you how many times I shoved essential oils up my nose just to blot out the smell so I could sleep. This thing saved my sanity, and probably the slack jawed idiot cat's life as well. (the smell of the spray is a little weird but it clears quickly and is a thousand percent better than the smell of cat pee) -end note: I would like to clarify for the record that it was the cat peeing all over, not my sister.
